Land in the Lothian Regions wanted for Rent

Here at The Shipping Warrior we just lost our little Mascot of 16 years and 3 Months. A little Domino coloured Moggy named Pepsi. We initially wanted to get her buried in a Pet Cemetery, but could not believe that the nearest Pet Cemeteries are based a way down South in England, a way up in the Grampains, or a way over on the West Coast of Scotland. So we ended up getting her Cremated instead. However it is The Shipping Warrior's goal to lay her ashes to rest in an Edinburgh based Pet Cemetery.

However Pet Cemeteries are not cheap, and for The Shipping Warrior to be able to afford to open Edinburgh's first and only Pet Cemetery it means taking off like a Rocket and making up for many years of complacency, fast.

We quickly got plans in to action, and planned to purchase cheap land at Auction. We found affordable land, just to find out that one of the sites are tarred and concreted. It was not in our plans to have to bring in JCB's, so we found another bit of land. This time we were bitterly disappointed to find out that the land is currently a woodland.  Again, it was not part of our business plan to have to cut down hundreds of trees.

So, we began looking for Farmland, and we planned to take our business plan to the bank. However we have realised that purchasing Farm Land for hundreds of thousands of pounds is a recipe for disaster, and a sure way to find ourselves with a bad reputation facing bankruptcy, and we base ourselves on remaining responsible, reliable and trustworthy.

Quite simply, we realised that the only way that this project would be a guaranteed success is if we already owned the land.

However, just when we were about to abandon our dreams, it occurred to us that there was still the possibility of passing the idea over to a current land owner whom would rather keep their land in the family for their siblings to inherit, and in return they might use our services for collecting and delivering beloved Pets being transported to Rainbow Bridge Pet Cemetery.

Or, if you are not interested in running the business, you could of course offer to rent us some land and we will run the business and supply ourselves with Shipping work. Who knows, we might even sign an agreement that when The Shipping Warrior has his day, the business + the land gets handed over to your off spring. But please, only Green land with soil which is ripe for burying already. And as close to the City of Edinburgh as possible. West Lothian would be ideal as it could be advertised to Glaswegians as well.

In the event that you would be interested in renting land to us, we also envision a little pay to enter (free to enter for owners that are using the Cemetery, or genuinely looking to give a Kitten a home) Cat Zoo named Rainbow Bridge Resurrections. It would be based on Douglas Hall Kennels in Burnley, though we would specialize in Cats and Kittens instead of Dogs and Puppies. Everything from the Moggy to the rare or exotic breed. The idea is that we would be in a good position to sell Kittens with prepaid plots to buyers for 2024 prices, and would get a lot of custom from owners that have lost their loved one coming back to us when they feel it is time to invite a new pet into their life. We would also provide ourselves with lots of transportation work. We desperately want to move in to this niche, as it would also generate employment for others in a number of fields. The project would require a Secretary, At least one vetted and trained person to maintain the Cemetery, do some digging, and look after the Cats and Kittens in the enclosures. Though probably two. Perhaps even a second Pet Transporter.

We would also probably come up with other ideas in the event that there is still space on the land. Whether that be buying and selling Building Materials, or, just a storage facility for general miscellaneous goods, we would look to use up every Acre with enterprises that are going to provide The Shipping Warrior department with plenty transportation work.

Or, you could of course just sell up to the next company that wishes to build more flats and houses. That might be the more lucrative option of course. At least in the short term anyway.

Let us know.
