Here at The Shipping Warrior our quotes are usually 10% less than what the most cost effective courier would charge on a compare the market website. However, for anything being picked up at a Charity Shop we will give bigger discounts.

For Londoners buying from a Lothian Regions based Charity Shop, you will receive your usual 10% discount, however when we collect your item from the Charity Shop we will donate a further 10% of the fee to the Charity Shop. This offer also applies to residents based in the Lothian Regions that are purchasing goods from London based Charity Shops. 

We will transport an item no larger than 1m * 1m * 1m and no heavier than 15 kg to or from Edinburgh or London for £50. So that right there is £5 for the Charity Shop. For goods heavier than 15 kg, we will still transport at no extra cost, however a member of the Chairty Shop may have to help us with loading, and you may have to help us with unloading.

For residents local to the City of Edinburgh we will charge you the mere equivalent of a Taxi Fare from The Charity Shop of your choice to the delivery Address, so long as both your Address and the Charity Shop are within the boundaries of the City of Edinburgh. Please be aware that time spent loading will be charged at £21.40 per hour, so for instance, if we spent 15 minutes loading then that would be an extra £5.35. We would assume that it would take a similar amount of time to unload the item and what it took to load the item, so we would also hand the Charity Shop the equivalent of 10% of £10.70.

If you wish to use our services collecting from a Charity Shop. but are unsure of which Charity Shop to use, then we strongly recommend the British Heart Foundation. We have collected everything from Plasma Televisions, Vintage Furniture, to Three Piece Suites from the BHF. You might even find the odd Antique slip through the net in there as well. It all seems as good as new also.
