History of Transportation (Fun Facts)

This is how enthusiastic we are about the Shipping trade.

Amber Roads

Amber Routes, earliest roads in Europe, probably used between 1900 BC and 300 BC by Etruscan and Greek traders to transport amber and tin from northern Europe to points on the Mediterranean and Adriatic seas.

Land of Punt

The earliest recorded ancient Egyptian expedition to Punt was organized by Pharaoh Sahure of the Fifth Dynasty (25th century BC), returning with cargoes of antyue and Puntites. However, gold from Punt is recorded as having been in Egypt as early as the time of Pharaoh Khufu of the Fourth Dynasty.[15]

70 Nine Bows were transported to an Egyptian Pharoah, not once, but twice

One of the times is recorded in Egyptian records, and the Pharoah was Userkaf. Userkaf is thought to be the Pharoah that had the first ever Obelisk erected. Some historians speculate that an Obelisk is a Phallic object. It has been suggested in certain controversial studies that the slaves that Userkaf used to erect the Obelisk were the rebel husbands, brothers and sons that had waged war against the Pharoah before becoming POWS, of the 70 women.

"Userkaf launched a military expedition into Nubia,[27] while the Old Kingdom annals record that he received tribute from a region that is either the Eastern Desert or Canaan in the form of a workforce of one chieftain and 70 foreigners[102] (likely women),[93][103] "

The other time was in the bible. Unfortunately, which Pharoah Jacob took his house of 70 to see remains a mystery to Biblical Scholars.

"Israel and his entire house of 70,[64] gathered up with all their livestock and began their journey to Egypt."
