DEFRA Licensed Pet Transportation Service

When transporting your Cat or Kitten we will play this Music whilst it is in transportation

We are an Edinburgh based courier & shipping company with a DEFRA License to carry Pets.

We can offer Airport Transfers, and collection and delivery of Pets anywhere in Britain, so long as it is travelling in a North to South, or South to North direction.

For collection of Pets being collected or delivered in parts of Scotland more Northerly than Edinburgh, we can only offer a next day service. The Pet will have to spend a night in Edinburgh with its own room, bed, food and warmth.

For anywhere else in between Edinburgh and the South Coast, a same day delivery will be possible.

For Pets going to the Orkney's or Shetlands, I will only be able to transport them as far as the Aberdeen Ferry Terminal. I will not be able to travel on the ferry with the Pet. However we can arrange for one of the Ferry staff to take good care of the Pet, and the member of staff will hand you the Pet when you arrive to meet the ferry at your local port.

Also, it is our regrets that at this current time we are only accepting jobs for Cats, Puppies and other Pets that are small enough to fit inside the crate in the picture. Though we do have different types of even smaller carriers for other different types of Pets, such as birds, rodents and reptiles.

We also guarantee the safe transportation of your Pet. Your Pet will receive the most cost effective quote, whilst still receiving just as good a service as any dedicated service.

As part of our Standard Service all Puppies and Kittens will  receive a small crate with a clean blanket and will have access to water. However on journey's less than 8 hours the Puppy and Kitten should not be fed during transportation, nor for 3 hours before transportation. As mean as this sounds, those are the DEFRA guidelines, and they are to protect the Pet from travel sickness and diarrhea.

This is our Standard Service. For Extra Services see our Extra Charges page by clicking on the link beneath the form.

In 9 years of service we have had one pet that died after delivery. It was a little Dachshund. We were very sad and in turmoil, especially for the new owners. However we were relieved to hear the opinion of the vet. We can't remember the name of the disease, but the vet decided that the puppy had been ill for weeks before being collected by us and full responsibility was placed on the breeder and she was reported for neglect.

So despite the fact that we have never had a bad review regarding a pet, and anything going wrong with a pet during transportation is simply unthinkable, we still need to make some terms and conditions. So please see our Damages page by clicking on the link beneath the form.
